Random Things about Me 

  1. I was born on May 8th, on a hot summer day.
  2. I’m the oldest of three children and the only girl — I have two younger brothers.
  3. Growing up, my father was an employee, but he has always preferred to be called a farmer. My mother is a kindergarten teacher.
  4. Since infancy, I’ve been an incredibly stubborn child.
  5. When I was little, my favorite color was purple, and my favorite number has always been 8.
  6. My first real pet (goldfish don’t count) was a horn beetle named Koplak, followed by a betta fish named Stu.
  7. I love watermelon.
  8. I was once overweight during junior high school.
  9. My first mobile phone was a Nokia 6610i
  10. Foods I dislike include jengkol, pete, durian, radish — basically anything with a strange smell or taste.
  11. I used to read Bobo magazine and Lintang tabloid as a child.
  12. I got my first bike when I was in kindergarten — a cool green one with four wheels (two regular and two training wheels). I learned to ride a two-wheeled bike when I was around five or six. I still remember the moment my cousin Andri let go of the back of my bike and I rode on my own for the first time.
  13. I got my first period when I was 13.
  14. My spatial IQ score is higher than in any other category.
  15. I’m not a fan of playing sports, but I enjoy watching football. My favorite club is Liverpool FC.
  16. I once sang a silly song live on the radio.
  17. Loyalty is both one of my strengths and one of my weaknesses.
  18. My blood type is not B.
  19. I love listening to the sounds of nature.
  20. I also love movies! Wes Anderson is one of my favorite directors — his imagination is brilliant. I’m also proud to say I adore all Studio Ghibli films, especially those by Hayao Miyazaki.
  21. I have a strong sense of and appreciation for fine art.
  22. I’m fascinated by the charisma of cats — or maybe it’s just how I see them.
  23. I enjoy reading books from a wide range of genres.
