Umm Noise at 01:13 am (doc. Yogyakata, Jun 21st 2014)
Aku terbangun pukul 01:13 am. Masih di tempat tidurku. Kulihat seekor splandens fish tampak berenang seorang diri. Detak jam dinding memimpin paduan suara. Suara film Lord of the Ring yg diputar berulang-ulang oleh tetangga sebelahku tembus dari balik tembok. Sayup-sayup suara windows starting dari lantai atas. Suara air mengalir dari keran kamar mandi. âtek tek tekâ. Beberapa kali suara itu timbul tenggelam dibalik lemari kayu. Sayup-sayup suara kendaraan bermotor melintas. âsrrrreerkkg⊠srreeghhjk..â. Dan cicit suara tikus. Mungkin seekor tikus gemuk yang pemalas menggerasak memaksa menerobos apapun di depannya untuk mencapai aroma sepotong sisa makan. Kemudian tak lama suara denyitan pintu sebuah kamar dari atas dan agak jauh. Sekarang suara perutku menyapa lirih. Aku bangkit dan membuka toples biskuitku. âKresp.. krespâŠâ. Suaranya kini dari perpaduan gigi-gigiku yang menghancurkan lempengan persegi panjang makanan asin favoritku. âKreeetâŠâ. Suara korsi kerjaku kutarik. Duduk mengunyah didepan splendens fishku. Kami saling tatap. Kubuka laptopku. Kemudian kututup lagi. Aku hanya berpikir ingin menikmati malam ini dengan caraku. Ini seperti musik yang lahir dan mengalir mengikuti panggilannya.
This life is what you make it. No matter what, youâre going to mess up sometimes, itâs a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how youâre going to mess it up. Girls will be your friends – theyâll act like it anyway. But just remember, some come, some go. The ones that stay with you through everything – theyâre your true best friends. Donât let go of them. Also remember, sisters make the best friends in the world. As for lovers, well, theyâll come and go too. And baby, I hate to say it, most of them – actually pretty much all of them are going to break your heart, but you canât give up because if you give up, youâll never find your soulmate. Youâll never find that half who makes you whole and that goes for everything. Just because you fail once, doesnât mean youâre gonna fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always believe in yourself, because if you donât, then who will, sweetie? So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because lifeâs a beautiful thing and thereâs so much to smile about.
